ELMET was established in 1996 by Kurt Manigatter, Christian Reslhuber, Karl Adlesgruber, and Paul Fattinger, driven by a shared vision, innovative spirit, and a passion for technology. Soon, the highly motivated team was setting new benchmarks in developing and producing high-precision equipment for fully automated silicone component production processes.
Only a few months after its foundation, ELMET secured its first major patent: a strong testament to the pioneering spirit of this young enterprise. By 1998, ELMET had grown to 16 employees, but its subsequent relocation to Oftering in the year 2000 opened up entirely new opportunities for expansion.
ELMET’s international breakthrough came in 2003 with the launch of its first dosing system, featuring a patented control system. This milestone established ELMET as a global player in LSR dosing technology and mold making. What has set ELMET apart from the very beginning is an uncompromising commitment to quality. Continuous quality management, certified standards, and a strong team remain the cornerstones of our success to this day.
By 2008, ELMET’s headcount had reached the 100-employee mark. Today, the company has about 200 dedicated employees across locations in Austria, the U.S., China, and Japan. Over 95 percent of our products are exported to countries worldwide
