LSR Dosing System - Dosing Pumps & -Systems for LSR

The desire for a Dosing System arose from years of using conventional Dosing Pumps in our own application department. The main requirements for the LSR Dosing System developed by ELMET were:
	High operating comfort High-quality, functionally-optimized components Self-regulating & documented dosing accuracy by means of closed control loop This results in the optimum use of the valuable liquid silicone material.

	ELMET has developed a patented relugated Dosing System, which ensures that the remaining material (waste), per change of drum kit, is about 1%. Dosing units with a conventional Dosing System, do have a remaining material of approximately 5%. ~4% difference = 18kg WASTE or approx. € 144,- per change of drum kit (using 200kg/55 gallon barrels)   This LSR material savings in the following examples was calculated on one year of production:

	Pacifier

	Isolators

	Cake baking pans

	Singelwire (small)
