The manufacture and adjustment of fully-automatic injection molding tools and the corresponding peripheral equipment demands highly-qualified employees in all areas.

 

In order to avoid a lack of professional staff, Elmet invests in a massive apprenticeship program in which around 20 young employees are continually being trained in the following occupations:

Tool construction technology
Machining technology
Molding technology

Apprentice ship training is carried out under the ‘dual training system’, which teaches both the theoretical (vocational school) and practical parts (tool construction & application technology) of learning a profession.
